Another service to compliment your chiropractic therapy with us is massage therapy. Massage is one of the oldest healing arts: Chinese records dating back 3,000 years document its use; the ancient Hindus, Persians and Egyptians applied forms of massage for many ailments; and Hippocrates wrote papers recommending the use of rubbing and friction for joint and circulatory problems.

Today, the benefits of massage are varied and far-reaching. As an accepted part of many physical rehabilitation programs, massage therapy has also proven beneficial for many chronic conditions, including low back pain, arthritis, bursitis, fatigue, high blood pressure, diabetes, immunity suppression, infertility, smoking cessation, depression, and more. And, as many millions will attest, massage also helps relieve the stress and tension of everyday living that can lead to disease and illness.

There are many benefits of massage therapy but a few of them include:

  • Alleviate low-back pain and improve range of motion.
  • Ease medication dependence.
  • Enhance immunity by stimulating lymph flow—the body’s natural defense system.
  • Improve the condition of the body’s largest organ—the skin.
  • Increase joint flexibility.
  • Lessen depression and anxiety.
  • Pump oxygen and nutrients into tissues and vital organs, improving circulation.
  • Relieve migraine pain.
  • Enhance sleep quality.
  • Greater energy.

Our full Exercise therapy suite offers our patients the ability to rehabilitate and strengthen the muscles, ligaments, and joints that support the spine. When done properly these therapies can help maximize chiropractic adjustment effectiveness. These therapies include: Whole body cardio, advanced band therapy, and balance excersizes.

Exercise therapy is effective for patients that suffer from arthritis, asthma, stress, as well as many other pains and ailments. It is also effective for patients that have just gone through child birth and those that suffer from being overweight.

The footbath began as a medicinal tool used to treat tired feet and aching backs, and has evolved into a medical marvel of whole-body cleansing. This treatment is performed with warm water, salt, and an ionizing system. This system uses positive and negative ions to help draw out toxins our body stores in our joints and soft tissue. These treatments can seem like a luxury, but for anyone who spends long days on their feet, or who suffer from aching joints, it could be a necessity.

Please feel free to ask us about how having a foot bath can positively affect the quality of your health!
